This year Blag Theatre Company celebrated 20 years of treading the boards with their Christmas shows at The Pump House Theatre, Watford.

From December the 17th the five strong cast created their familiar Christmas buzz at the Pump House with their Christmas revue. Below are some of the comments received from their audiences...

Nicola Sarah Clough: "It was a fantastic show as always, merry Christmas to all of Blag, can’t wait for next year".

Diane Jamieson-Pond: "Great fun from you Christmassy crackers!"

Diane Anstiss: "Just brilliant!"

Jonathan Carmichael: "One of your very best!"

Abbey Robinson: "What a giggle - loved it. The school panto in the second half was priceless."

The Company that was founded in 1995 are well known for their unique parodying of all things festive and topical. For families looking for something a bit more on point than pantomime, then this is it.

Richard Beaumont who leads the company said, “It was wonderful to take bookings from people who were into their 18th or 19th year of coming along. It is brilliant to have such a loyal and dedicated audience”

It really is testament to the writing of Richard and his wife Lynn. This year’s show targeted everything from Christmas fancy dress parties, West End shows, gender swapping, the NHS and even Brexit, to a parody of a kids Pantomime, Meghan Markles’ wedding and a take on that old family favourite the “Sound of Music”. Added to that was a generous sprinkle of audience games and participation. All in all, it was the perfect recipe for a great night out.

Richard is delighted that they have a loyal audience base, however they are always on the lookout for “Blag virgins” and would love to see some new faces as well as the familiar ones to help them continue with this unique style of Christmas family entertainment.

2019's Christmas Show..."So, Here it is Merry Christmas!"...opens on December 16th.
